Tom principally writes for orchestra and other classical ensembles, although he also works on jazz, big band and music theatre projects, and scores strings for contemporary rock and pop.
Recently, one of his compositions, recorded by English Session Orchestra at Air Lyndhurst, was chosen for use in Tate & Lyle's return to TV advertising after 25 years, in the campaign Sticky, but Worth It created by acclaimed advertising agency Iris.
Tom's music has been used on all the major UK television channels on programs including The One Show BBC1, The Apprentice BBC1, Panda Babies ITV, Four In A Bed C4, How to Win At Everything National Geographic, Our Family CBeebies, and Rent A Cop BBC3.
Current work in progress includes an atmospheric horror piece for orchestral brass recorded at Abbey Road Studios for leading production music company Audio Network due to be released later this year.
